Does the title of my blog pique your curiosity? I recently met with the lovely Vicki and Wynne from the Heart of the Matter blog to discuss my journey to blogging, why I called the blog Curiosities, Castles and Coffee Shops. Listen to the podcast we recorded to find out the answer to that and many more quesitons that Vicki and Wynne had. Do they ask questions you have too? Let me know in the comments or feel free to ask any other questions.
I loved the conversation but I also loved, and was a bit surprised, by some of the insights I got from chatting, and the realisation of how important blogging is to me. Its a culmination of lots of different elements of my life all coming together in my blog and fuelled lots of ideas for future posts, so stay tuned.
I don’t want to spoil the fun, so head over to Heart of the Matter and to the podcast to find out more. The link to both the show and the show notes are provided below. You’ll also find a link to the Heart of the Matter blog above
Here’s the link to listen on Anchor: Episode 15: Writing into a Full and Balanced Life with Brenda Harrison and here’s the show notes: Episode 15 show notes
If you would prefer, you can also search for Sharing the Heart of the Matter on Amazon Music, Apple, Spotify or PocketCasts to find the show.
I hope you enjoy listening as much as I enjoyed recording the podcast and meeting the delightful Wynne and Vicki. Thanks both for inviting me along.

Thank you
Chatting with dear friends? What’s better? 😊 Such was the case as Wynne and I visited with you Brenda! Girlfriends finally taking time the to chat about life, writing…what matters most. Cheers and big hugs to you! 🥰
I have now listened to the recording 😁 I don’t know what I was so nervous about … but I was shaking as I listened.
I did enjoy our time chatting so much. ❤️😘🥰
You were wonderful! 🥰
🥰🥰🥰
Brenda, I agree – it’s totally nerve wracking. I love what you say above that our conversation inspired some insights for you. But chatting about things versus writing about things is different, even for an experienced lecturer like you! What fun to do a podcast with you – thank you so much, Brenda!
My pleasure Wynne. It was fun 😁💗
But I suspect other Scots might not think my accent is very Scottish 🤭
😉😉😉
your travel blogs are always enjoyed because of the existing character and charm, dear Brenda 🤍✨
Thank you Destiny. 😊 ❤️

Ohhh yes that Scottish accent.
Heard you for the first time.
Listening to your voice, you sound very strict and serious.
I’m glad you are better organized, doing more and enjoying more with the blogging.

Many congratulations and Glad to know more. 😀 You have an inspiring covid times journey.
I could connect on several points. Writing is a healer. Balance is a play and can be mastered with time.
I was smiling when I hear about letters. I still do write. Thank you for doing this. 🙂 You are an inspiration.
